Cardinals LB Haason Reddick Underwent Knee Scope

Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury said LB Haason Reddick underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee and is expected to miss a “few weeks,” per Josh Weinfuss.

Kingsbury called Reddick’s knee scope in a “minor procedure,” so it appears there is not a lot of cause for concern.

Reddick, 24, is a former first-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2017. He’s entering the third year of his four-year, $13.47 million contract that includes $13.47 million guaranteed and set to make base salaries of $1.69 million and $2.30 over the next two years of the agreement.

Reddick’s contract includes a fifth-year option for the team to pick up in 2020.

In 2018, Reddick appeared in all 16 games and recorded 80 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks, one forced fumble, and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as their No. 59 overall linebacker out of 92 qualifying players.
