Cardinals Promote TE Darrell Daniels, Release OL Jeremy Vujnovich

James Palmer reports that the Cardinals have promoted TE Darrell Daniels from their practice squad to the active roster and released veteran OL Jeremy Vujnovich in a corresponding roster move.

Daniels, 25, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in May of 2017. Indianapolis later traded Daniels to the Seahawks in return for Marcus Johnson coming out of the preseason.

Daniels was on and off of the Seahawks’ roster in 2018 before being claimed off waivers by the Cardinals toward the end of the year.

Arizona re-signed him to a one-year exclusive rights deal back in April but re-signed him to their practice squad after cutting him as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit.

In 2018, Daniels appeared in nine games for the Seahawks but did not catch his lone target.
