Hoyett, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Mississippi State back in 2018. He later signed on with the Titans, but was waived at the start of the regular season.

The Chiefs signed Hoyett to their practice squad a few months later and he returned to Kansas City on a futures contract this past February. The Chiefs released him a few weeks ago.

During his college career at Mississippi State, Hoyett recorded 41 tackles, two sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery over the course of four seasons and 32 games.
