Chiefs Sign TE Richard Gordon To An Extension

According to Brian McIntyre, the Kansas City Chiefs signed restricted free agent TE Richard Gordon signed to a contract extension earlier this week.

  • McIntyre adds that Gordon will receive a one-year deal worth $645,000 for the 2014 season.

Gordon, 26, was signed to a contract back in December after Chiefs TE Anthony Fasano was dealing with injuries. He had spent two years with the Raiders before that and appeared in 27  games for them before being cut loose.

He played in two games with the Chiefs and caught one pass for three yards.
