Colts Place G Matt Slauson On IR, Sign G Evan Boehm Off Rams’ PS

The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they’ve placed G Matt Slauson on injured reserve and signed G Evan Boehm off of the Rams’ practice squad.

The Colts are decimated with injuries and this only makes things worse, as there were no prior indications that Slauson was hurt. He managed to play the entire game on Thursday against the Patriots.

Slauson, 32, is a former sixth-round pick of the Jets back in 2009. He spent four years in New York before signing on with the Bears in 2013.

Slauson played out his two-year, $3 million contract with the Chargers before agreeing to a one-year, $3 million deal with the Colts this offseason.

In 2018, Slauson appeared in five games for the Colts.
