Ian Rapoport first reported that the Colts were signing OLB Trent Cole to a contract.
- Mike Garafolo reports that Cole receives a two-year contract worth $16 million that includes $8 million guaranteed.
Cole, 32, recorded 52 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles over the course of 15 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 19 outside linebacker in a 3-4 system out of 46 qualifying players.
