Dolphins Activate RT Julien Davenport From IR, Waive OT Andrew Donnal

According to Adam Beasley, the Miami Dolphins activated RT Julien Davenport from their injured reserve and waived OT Andrew Donnal to make room for him.

The Dolphins designated Davenport as a player to return from injured reserve two weeks ago, which opened a three-week window for his activation.

Davenport, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Texans back in 2017. He was traded to the Dolphins as part of the Laremy Tunsil trade coming out of the preseason.

Davenport is in the third year of his four-year, $2.986 million contract and set to make base salaries of $645,000 and $735,000 over the final two years of his deal.

In 2019, Davenport has appeared in one game, making one start at right tackle.
