Dolphins Roster Cuts Including CBs Brandon Harris & Al Louis-Jean

The Miami Dolphins have begun the process of trimming their roster down to 75 players. Here’s the full list of roster cuts up to this point:

Other roster moves include:

Harris, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Texans back in 2011. He lasted three years in Houston before he was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Titans right before the start of the 2014 season.

Harris re-signed with the Titans last year, but unfortunately suffered a torn ACL that cost him the entire year. The Dolphins signed Harris to a contract close to a month ago.

In 2014, Harris appeared in 11 games for the Titans in 2014 and recorded 11 tackles and three pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 112 total snaps in 2014 to go along with a solid rating in pass coverage.

Louis-Jean, 22, signed on with the Bears an an undrafted free agent out of Boston College last year. He was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but he later signed to the team’s practice squad and wound up appearing in a number of games last season.

The Bears elected to re-sign Louis-Jean to a two-year contract back in February of last year, but he was unfortunately among their roster cuts at the start of the season.

The Redskins signed him to a future/reserve contract in January, only to waive him shortly after this year’s draft. The Dolphins signed him to a contract a few weeks ago.

In 2014, Louis-Jean recorded nine tackles and a pass defense over the course of nine games for the Bears.
