The Miami Dolphins officially signed five players to their practice squad on Sunday including QB Jake Rudock.
The full list includes:
Rudock, 26, is a former sixth-round pick by the Lions of the 2016 NFL Draft. Detroit elected to waive him as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit at the start of the 2016 season and later re-signed him to their practice squad.
Rudock returned to the Lions on an exclusive rights free agent last year. However, Detroit waived Rudock coming out of the preseason and he was later signed to their practice squad.
The Dolphins signed Rudock to a futures contract this past January, but he wound up being among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
In 2017, Rudock appeared in three games for the Lions and completed three of five pass attempts for 24 yards and an interception.
