Eagles LT Jason Peters Believed To Have Torn Bicep, Optimism He Can Play Through It

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Eagles LT Jason Peters is believed to have suffered a torn bicep, even though he reporters post-game that he was okay.

Rapoport adds that doctors are still optimistic that Peters will be able to keep playing, but he’ll still undergo an MRI.

Peters, 36, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas back in 2004. He spent five years in Buffalo before joining the Eagles in 2009.

Peters is in the second year of his three-year, $32.5 million contract that includes $15.5 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $7.75 million over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Peters has appeared in six games for the Eagles.
