Eagles Release DE Brandon Bair

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they’ve released DE Brandon Bair on Friday.

Bair, 31, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2011. He later caught on with the Raiders before signing to the Eagles’ practice squad in 2013. Philadelphia elected to bring him back on a one-year deal last year.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing will free up $725,000 in available cap space while creating $50,000 in dead money.

In 2015, Bair appeared in five games and recorded 11 tackles and three pass defenses.
