Falcons Expected To Sign G Jamon Brown To Three-Year Deal

According to ESPN’s Vaughn McClure, the Atlanta Falcons are expected to sign former Giants G Jamon Brown.

The deal is expected to be for three years, per Zach Klein.

Brown, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Rams back in 2015. He was in the final year of a four-year, $3,250,974 contract that included $754,816 fully guaranteed.

The Rams elected to waive Brown several weeks into the 2018 season to make room for DE Dante Fowler.  Brown was claimed by the New York Giants.

According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Bears, Packers, Ravens and Titans also placed waiver claims for Brown.

In 2018, Brown appeared in six games for the Rams and started all eight games he appeared in for the Giants.  Pro Football Focus had Brown rated as its No. 62 guard out of 77 qualifying players.
