Falcons Sign DE Austin Larkin To Practice Squad, Release OL Nate Wozniak

The Falcons announced on Thursday they have signed DE Austin Larkin to the practice squad and released OL Nate Wozniak in a corresponding move.

Here’s an updated look at Atlanta’s practice squad:

  1. WR Christian Blake
  2. S Chris Cooper
  3. QB Danny Etling
  4. OL Sean Harlow
  5. DT Jacob Tuioti-Mariner
  6. DT Justin Zimmer
  7. WR Brandon Powell
  8. TE Carson Meier
  9. P Matt Wile
  10. DE Austin Larkin

Larkin, 24, was signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue in 2018. He was waived by the Cowboys, however, during final roster cutdowns at the end of the preseason.

Larkin caught on with the Falcons in May but was waived by the team during final cutdowns this year. He has bounced on and off Atlanta’s practice squad so far this year.

During his two years at Purdue, Larkin recorded 42 total tackles, including 4.5 for a loss, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble in 18 games.
