Fred Jackson Insists That He’s Fully Healed

Buffalo News has reported that Buffalo Bills’ running back Fred Jackson has insisted that he is perfectly healthy as he reported to Bills’ camp. Jackson sustained a broken right leg fibula fracture last November. At the time, he had 934 rushing yards, with 6 touchdowns.

Jackson has said that he could have come back in December if he wanted to, given the nature of the injury. “I don’t really consider my injury last year as serious as a lot of people say. It was just a dumb bone that I fractured. But I was walking around on it two weeks later without any problem. It’s a non-weight-bearing bone. I’m fine, 100 percent ready to go.”

The Bills are in no rush to bring Jackson back to action just yet. Expect him to be apart of a committee with CJ Spiller this season. Jackson is looking to really secure his spot in the roster during the next few weeks of camp.
