Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports that the Giants are promoting OT Brian Mihalik to their active roster on Tuesday.
Mihalik will take the roster spot of Ereck Flowers, who will either be traded or waived on Tuesday.
Mihalik, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Eagles back in 2015. He was unable to make their 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Eagles’ practice squad.
Mihalik had brief stints with the Steelers and Lions before he was claimed off of waivers by Detroit last year. The Lions elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason and he eventually signed on to the Giants’ practice squad.
In 2017, Mihalik appeared in 15 games for the Lions.
