Giants Sign RB Jhurell Pressley & LB Warren Long, Cut Two

The New York Giants announced Monday that they’ve signed RB Jhurell Pressley and LB Warren Long to contracts and waived S Mike Basile and LB Thurston Armbrister (injured).

Pressley, 26, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2016. He was cut loose coming out of the preseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Packers.

The Falcons eventually signed him to their practice squad before he was once again among the team’s final roster cuts. Pressley had a brief stint on the Falcons’ practice squad before joining the Jaguars midseason.

During his four years at the University of New Mexico, Pressley ran for 2,725 yards on 394 carries (6.92 YPC) to go along with 35 touchdowns.
