Art Stapleton reports that the Giants have agreed to terms with second-round DT Dalvin Tomlinson on a four-year contract.
Tomlinson is the first draft from the Giants’ 2017 class to sign his rookie deal.
According to OverTheCap.com, Tomlinson will receive a four-year contract worth $4,572,102, which includes a signing bonus of $1,465,164.
Tomlinson, 23, was selected with the No. 55 overall pick by the Giants in this year’s NFL draft. He should give the Giants a long-term replacement for Johnathan Hankins, who departed in free agency.
During his college career at Alabama, Tomlinson recorded 122 tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss, four sacks, a forced fumble and nine pass defenses over the course of 28 games and four seasons.
