Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that the Giants are signing FB/TE Will Johnson to a two-year contract.

Johnson reportedly had conversations with the Bears, Chargers, Jets and Titans at the start of free agency, but there really wasn’t a lot of buzz about him since then.

Johnson, 26, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia back in 2009. After a few years in Baltimore, Johnson later signed a contract with the Steelers in 2012 as unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Johnson appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and totaled four carries for seven yards rushing to go along with two receptions for 16 yards receiving and one touchdown. He also contributed on special teams for Pittsburgh.
