According to Pat Leonard, the Giants have signed WR T.J. Jones to a contract on Saturday.
The Giants are clearly looking to address their receiving corps after Corey Coleman sustained a torn ACL, Sterling Shepard a broken thumb, and Golden Tate suspended four weeks for violating the league’s PED policy.
Jones, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2014. He played out the final year of his contract and re-signed with Detroit to a one-year deal last season.
He finished out his contract with the Lions and signed a one-year deal with the Steelers back in April, but was cut loose soon after.
We had him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
In 2018, Jones appeared in 15 games and recorded 19 receptions for 190 yards and two touchdowns.
