Jaguars Release CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste From PS, Sign WR Larry Pinkard

The Jacksonville Jaguars officially signed WR Larry Pinkard to their practice squad on Tuesday and released DB Stanley Jean-Baptiste from the unit.

The Jaguars’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. RB Tim Cook
  2. DE Hunter Dimick
  3. WR Amba Etta-Tawo
  4. OL Avery Gennesy
  5. TE David Grinnage
  6. OL Chris Reed (Exception)
  7. OLB Carroll Phillips
  8. CB Raysean Pringle
  9. DT Darius Kilgo (Exception)
  10. WR Larry Pinkard

Jean-Baptiste, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Saints back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in New Orleans before he was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the lions’ practice squad.

The Seahawks signed him towards the end of the 2015 season and brought him back on a future/reserve contract. However, Seattle declined to tender him a contract as a restricted free agent this past March.

The Chiefs later signed him to a contract a few months ago before cutting him loose in June. The Jaguars signed him to a contract a month later before waiving him coming out of the preseason.

In 2014, Jean-Baptiste appeared in four games for the Saints, but didn’t record a single statistic.
