Jets Sign RB Terry Williams, Waive WR Anthony Kelly, DL Christo Bilukidi Leaves Team

The Jets announced on Sunday that they have signed RB Terry Williams and DL Jake Ceresna, while also waiving WR Anthony Kelly in a corresponding roster move.

  • New York also mentions that DL Christo Bilukidi has left the team.

Williams was signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Kutztown, was later waived by the team earlier this month, and now signed for the second time in less than two weeks.

Bilukidi, 26, was taken in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Raiders. He lasted just over a year in Oakland before he later caught on with the Bengals.

The Ravens wound up claiming him off of waivers from Cincinnati and re-signed him to a restricted free agent deal back in February of 2014, but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts.

Bilukidi later caught on with the Ravens and eventually secured a two-year extension from Baltimore before he was waived in October of last year. The Redskins signed him to a future/reserve contract only to waive him shortly after this year’s NFL draft.

In 2014, Bilukidi appeared in four games for the Ravens and recorded three tackles and no sacks.
