The New York Jets announced that they’ve signed S Ronald Martin to their practice squad and waived FB Julian Howsare from the unit.
The Jets’ practice squad now consists of:
- G Craig Watts
- LB Freddie BishopÂ
- CB Bryson Keeton
- S Doug Middleton
- CB Dexter McDougle
- LB Victor Ochi
- S Ronald Martin
- RB Brandon Wilds
- LB Julian Stanford
- WR Myles White
Martin, 23, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of shortly after this last year’s draft. However, he, unfortunately, waived during roster cuts and later claimed by the Jets.
Martin was been on an off of their 53-man roster last year and was once again cut loose coming out of the preseason over a month ago. The Jets later added him to their practice squad before waiving him last week.
In 2015, Martin appeared in eight games for the Jets and recorded one tackle.
