Michael Vick Still Sore, VY In Line For Another Start?

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Eagles will start QB Michael Vick if he’s healthy enough to play but Vince Young‘s performance last night was convincing enough to not force the issue. McLane added that Vick is still pretty sore and “not completely out of the woods” regarding his injured ribs.

Eagles head coach Andy Reid also mentioned that Vick would not be able to play if there was a game tonight, per Geoff Mosher.

Philly gets the Patriots next week so there will be plenty of attention surrounding Vick’s status for this weeks game. Young played so well that he wound up converting five third-down conversations and orchestrated a game-winning drive in the forth quarter over what is believed to be a tough New York Giants defense. If I had to guess, I’d put my money on Young getting another start in Week 12.
