NFL Notes: 49ers, Lions, Packers, Ravens, Redskins, & Seahawks

49ers

• Adam Schefter reports that 49ers OLB Ahmad Brooks will not play against the Giants in Week 5 after his sister recently died of Lupus.

Lions

• Lions OLB DeAndre Levy was a full participant in practice again Thursday, and is expected to play Sunday. (Tim Twentyman)
• RB Joique Bell, TE Eric Ebron, LB Travis Lewis, and DT Haloti Ngata did not practice on Thursday. (Dave Birkett)
• G Larry Warford, DE Ezekiel Ansah, S James Ihedigbo, P Sam Martin, and TE Brandon Pettigrew were all limited today. (Dave Birkett)

Packers

• Rob Demovsky reports that the Packers signed WR Jared Abbrederis to a three-year minimum contract upon promoting him from practice squad.
• According to Demovsky, Abbrederis will make $358,235 for the 2015 season.
• LB Clay Matthews, S Sean Richardson, WR James Jones, CB Demetri Goodson, WR Randall Cobb, and RT Bryan Bulaga were all limited participants in Thursday’s practice. (Rob Demovsky)

Ravens

• Ravens WR Steve Smith Sr. (back) has been ruled out for Week 5’s game. (Jeff Zrebiec)

Redskins

• Mike Jones and Liz Clarke of the Washington Post, citing a person with knowledge of the situation, report that the Redskins are considering playing one of their 2016 games in London.
• According to the report, there are other teams are under consideration right, but it’s believed that Washington will likely wind up playing in London next year.

Seahawks

• Seahawks OL Alvin Bailey said his Tweet that mentioned he was thinking about playing for 31 cities other than Seattle is “not as big of a deal as people are making it out to be.” (Bob Condotta)
