Bears
Bears S Antrel Rolle told reporters that he, thankfully, did not suffer a broken ankle during today’s game.
“Thank God nothing is broken,” Rolle said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “It could have been a lot worse than what it really is. The X-rays came back negative. … I’m going to keep grinding and just keep on pushing. I plan on being back in no time.”
Colts
- Joel Corry of CBS Sports mentions that the Colts may end up paying veteran WR Andre Johnson just $10 million for the 2015 season, due to how poorly things are going for him this year.
- Corry notes that Johnson has a $2.5 million roster bonus due on the fifth day of the 2016 league year that is already fully guaranteed, so that won’t be a consideration.
Eagles
Eagles RB DeMarco Murray said he anticipated his role being different this year after leaving the Cowboys, but he doesn’t think he’s been receiving enough carries.
“Do I think I’m touching the ball? Umm…No I’m not,” Murray said, via Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com. “I don’t think I am.”
Seahawks
- The Seahawks officially ruled out RB Marshawn Lynch and DT Brandon Mebane for Monday Night’s game.
- Ed Werder reports that lynch tried to lobby HC Pete Carroll to allow him to play in the game, but Carroll elected to not take any chances with his hamstring injury.
