- Ian Rapoport reports that Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has spoken to Cardinals QB Carson Palmer, who played through a similar thumb injury all season.
- Rapoport adds that Fitzpatrick could still undergo surgery Friday.
Steelers
- Jason La Canfora reports that it’s still unlikely Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger plays this weekend.
- According to La Canfora, Roethlisberger did some “very limited work” Thursday while Landry Jones was working with the starters.
