NFL Notes: Browns, Chiefs, Dolphins, & Eagles

Browns

  • Mary Kay Cabot considers Terrelle Pryor a “lock” to make the 53-man roster based on his pass-catching ability and upside at the position.
  • Browns GM Ray Farmer has been impressed with Pryor’s transition from quarterback to wide receiver. (Ed Werder)

Chiefs

Dolphins

  • Jeff Darlington reports that Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for G Evan Mathis, was on hand for the Dolphins training camp practice on Tuesday.
  • For what it’s worth, Darlington doesn’t expect Mathis’ asking price to come down.

Eagles

Eagles ILB DeMeco Ryans (Achilles’) admitted that he’s not quite 100 percent yet.

“I still have a little ways to go,” Ryans said, via the Philadelphia Inquirer. “Still need to gain a little bit of strength [in the foot], a little bit of explosiveness. Once I do that, I’ll be ready.
