NFL Notes: Contract Details, Dolphins, Eagles, & Packers

Contract Details

• The Redskins signed OLB Junior Galette to a one-year, $1.6 million deal, which includes $500,000 in per-game active bonuses. The deal includes another $2.5 million in incentives. (Tom Pelissero)
• The Bengals gave DT Pat Sims to a two-year, $2.3 million deal with $250,000 guaranteed. Sims also gets another $600,000 in playtime incentives. (Tom Pelissero)
• The Vikings signed RB Matt Asiata to a one-year deal worth $840,000 with $60,000 guaranteed. Asiata gets another $600,000 in incentives. (Matt Vensel)
• The Raiders signed WR Andre Holmes to a one-year, $2 million with $750,000 guaranteed. Holmes also receives $1 million in incentives for catches and yards. (Tom Pelissero)

Dolphins

• NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus mentioned that the Dolphins aren’t doing a whole lot in free agency because they’re being mindful of how signing players affects their compensatory picks. (Barry Jackson)

Eagles

• Tim McManus reports that Eagles DT Bennie Logan recently had minor clean out procedure done on his knee.

Packers

• Rob Demovsky of ESPN writes that the Packers’ conservative approach to free agency this year could be attributed to the fact that they’ll need to sign a number of notable players to extensions in the next year.
• Demovsky lists RB Eddie Lacy, OLB Nick Perry, DB Micah Hyde, LT David Bakhtiari, G T.J. Lang and G Josh Sitton as six names to watch.
