NFL Notes: Derrius Guice, Denzel Ward, Draft, Packers

Derrius Guice

• According to Tony Pauline, LSU RB Derrius Guice did nothing to increase his stock at his Pro Day and off-the-field issues are reportedly “weighing heavily” on his draft grade.
• Pauline says that several teams do not hold a positive view of Guice and some have characterized him as a “loose cannon.”
• Guice is scheduled to take official visits and meet the Patriots and Eagles and met with the Lions, Steelers, and Redskins on Tuesday. The Giants and Seahawks met with Guice following his Pro Day workout. (Jon Ledyard)

Denzel Ward

• Ohio State CB Denzel Ward visited with the Bears and 49ers earlier this week and is now scheduled to meet with the Bills, Dolphins and Browns in the coming days. (College Football 24/7)

Draft

• Ian Rapoport reports that LSU edge rusher Arden Key met with the Saints and Lions prior to his Pro Day and is set to take an official visit to the Bengals on Thursday.
• SMU WR Courtland Sutton said he has an official visit with the Eagles and will work out for “several teams” over the next two weeks. (SiriusXM NFL Radio)
• Minnesota DT Steven Richardson has received some interest from the Steelers, 49ers, and Seahawks. (Darren Wolfson)

• Aaron Wilson reports that Indiana CB Rashard Fant has is set to visit the Texans visit and has workouts planned with the Colts and Falcons.
