Free Agents

• Jayson Braddock reports that the Texans are “showing lots of interest” in free agent DE Da’Quan Bowers.
• Braddock adds that the Dolphins have checked in on Bowers as well, but the Buccaneers are hoping to re-sign him.

Bills

• Tim Graham reports that the Bills have made progress in re-signing DE Jerry Hughes, but the two sides “very aware clock ticking.”

Chargers

• According to Mike Garafolo, the Chargers are looking to make some offensive line upgrades and are expected to have interest in Broncos free agent OL Orlando Franklin.

Lions

• Charles Robinson of Yahoo expects the Lions to step of their pursuit of DT Nick Fairley “when” DT Ndamukong Suh departs in the coming days.

Texans

• Terez A. Paylor reports that multiple teams including the Texans have inquired about Chiefs free agent S Ron Parker.
