Patriots DC Brian Flores Interviewing With Packers Friday, Broncos Monday

According to Rob Demovsky, the Packers are scheduled to interview Patriots DC Brian Flores on Friday in New England along with OC Josh McDaniels.

  • Troy Renck reports that the Broncos are scheduled to interview Flores on Monday.

Flores is also scheduled to meet with the Dolphins and Browns regarding their vacancies

The list of reported interviews for the Packers includes:

  1. Former Colts & Lions HC Jim Caldwell (Interviewed)
  2. Former Colts HC Chuck Pagano (Interviewed)
  3. Northwestern HC Pat Fitzgerald (Expected)
  4. Patriots OC Josh McDaniels (Scheduled)
  5. Patriots DC Brian Flores (Scheduled)
  6. Saints assistant HC/TEs coach Dan Campbell (Scheduled)
  7. Steelers OL Coach Mike Munchak (Requested)
  8. Titans OC Matt LaFluer (Scheduled)
  9. Interim HC Joe Philbin (Scheduled)

Last year, Flores interviewed for the Cardinals’ head-coaching job before they hired Steve Wilks.

Flores, 37, began his NFL coaching career with the Patriots back in 2004 as a scouting assistant. He has spent his entire career with New England and held a number of positions including Pro scout, special teams assistant, assistant offense/special teams, defensive assistant, safeties coach and linebackers coach.

The Patriots declined to promote Flores to defensive coordinator after losing Matt Patricia last year, but he served as the team’s de facto coordinator this season.
