Panthers Host Three Players For Visits

According to Aaron Wilson, the Panthers are bringing in three free-agents for visits this week including DB Josh Hawkins, DT Mike Panasiuk, and LB Greg Roberts

Hawkins, 27, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two seasons in Green Bay, but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the 2018 preseason.

After a brief stint with the Panthers, Hawkins had brief stints with the Chiefs and Eagles.

From there, he signed with the Falcons in April but was cut loose coming out of training camp and was later added to Atlanta’s practice squad. Unfortunately, he was released after a week.

Hawkins spent this past spring in the XFL with the Dallas Renegades. He recorded 11 tackles, four pass defenses and two interceptions in five games.

In 2018, Hawkins appeared in five games for the Panthers but did not record a statistic.
