Patriots Tried Out Five Players

According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, the Patriots hosted five free agents for tryouts on Friday including QB T.J. Linta.

2. TE C.J. Conrad
3. DT Braxton Hoyett
4. QB T.J. Linta
5. WR Sean Modster

Linta wound up going undrafted out of Wagner back in April. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Chiefs before being waived with an injury settlement a month later. 

During his college career at Brown and Wagner, Linta threw for 3,875 yards while completing 51.2 percent of his passes to go along with 27 touchdowns and 19 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 30 games.
