The Las Vegas Raiders officially placed CB Nick Nelson on the reserve/PUP list on Tuesday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
This officially ends Nelson’s 2020 season, unless he’s later waived from the PUP list.
Nelson, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3,158,676 that included a $698,676 signing bonus.
Nelson stands to make a base salary of $675,000 for the 2020 season.
The Raiders waived Nelson with a failed physical designation on Monday.
In 2019, Nelson was limited to appearing in just two games for the Raiders.
