Raiders Re-Sign WR Andre Holmes To A One-Year, $3M Deal

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders have re-signed WR Andre Holmes to a one-year, $3 million deal.

  • According to Rapoport, the deal includes $1 million fully guaranteed.

At one time there were as many as five teams in the running for Holmes including the Vikings, Raiders, Lions, Bengals and Eagles.

However, recent reports indicated that a deal with the Raiders was likely to get done at some point in the near future, so this isn’t all that surprising to hear.

Holmes, 27, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Hillsdale back in 2011. He later caught on with the Cowboys and Patriots before the Raiders eventually signed him May of 2013.

Holmes returned to the Raiders on a one-year, restricted deal last year.

In 2015, Holmes appeared in all 16 games and caught 14 passes for 201 yards receiving and four touchdowns for the Raiders. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. receiver out of qualifying players.
