Raiders Releasing Veteran DL Tank Carradine

Raiders DL Tank Carradine tells reporters (per Michael Gehlken) that he’s requested his release and the team has granted it.

Carradine, 28, is a former second-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $4.948 million rookie contract when he and San Francisco agreed to a one-year contract extension before the start of the 2016 season.

Carradine made a base salary of $1.1 million in 2017 before signing on with the Raiders back in March.

In 2018, Carradine has appeared in one game for the Raiders and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
