Ravens Promote RB Terrance West, Placing C Jeremy Zuttah On I.R.

The Baltimore Ravens announced Wednesday that they have promoted RB Terrance West to their active roster.

  • The Ravens also announced that C Jeremy Zuttah has a torn pectoral and will be placed on season-ending injured reserve.

West, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Browns back in 2014. He was later traded to the Titans in  deal with the Browns that sent a 2016 conditional pick to Cleveland in return for the running back.

The Titans elected to cut West loose a few weeks ago, but he later signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad.

This season, West has appeared in just two games and ran for 51 yards on 16 carries (3.2 YPC) and no touchdowns.

Zuttah, 29, is in the first year of his  five-year, $18 million contract that included $6.5 million guaranteed. He’ll make base salaries of $3 million (2015) and $3.5 million (2016-2018) over the remainder of the agreement.
