Ravens Re-Signing LB Albert McClellan To A Three-Year Deal

Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens are re-signing LB Albert McClellan to a multi-year contract.

  • Zrebiec adds that McClellan is considered to be a “very valuable” special teams player and reserve linebacker for the Ravens.
  • Aaron Wilson reports that McClellan receives a three-year contract that includes a signing bonus.

McClellan, 29, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall back in 2010. He finished out his two-year contract with the team and was in line to be an unrestricted free agent next week.

In 2015, McClellan appeared in 13 games for the Ravens and recorded 17 tackles, one sack, a fumble recovery and a pass defense.

We’ll have more regarding his contract as the news is available.
