Ravens Release LB Albert McClellan

The Baltimore Ravens released LB Albert McClellan on Tuesday to make room for RB Ty Montgomery, who was acquired in a trade with the Packers, according to Jamison Hensley.

McClellan, 32, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall back in 2010. He finished out his two-year contract with the team before signing a new three-year, $3.75 million contract in 2016.

McClellan was set to make a base salary of $1.25 million for the 2018 season when the Ravens released him coming out of the preseason only to bring him back a few weeks later.

In 2018, McClellan appeared in six games for the Ravens and recorded three tackles.
