Ravens Waive LB Brennen Beyer From I.R. With Settlement

The Baltimore Ravens officially waived LB Brennen Beyer from injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday.

Beyer, 24, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan back in May of 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason in 2015 but was later signed to the Ravens’ practice squad at the start of the season.

Baltimore brought him back on a future/reserve contract back in January of last year but he was once again among their final roster cuts before being signed to their taxi squad. The Raven eventually promoted him to their active roster in December and brought him back on an exclusive rights deal this offseason.

However, Beyer was recently waived with an injury designation and later reverted to injured reserve.

In 2016, Beyer appeared in one game and recorded three tackles for the Ravens.
