The Washington Redskins officially waived DE Myles Humphrey with an injury designation on Saturday.
Should Humphrey clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Redskins’ injured serve list.
Humphrey, 23, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd back in May of last year. He was cut loose coming out of the preseason and had a brief stint on the Ravens’ practice squad before signing on with the Giants.
New York brought Humphrey back on a futures contract this past January, only to waive him a week after this year’s draft. He signed on with the Redskins a few weeks ago.
Humphrey has yet to appear in an NFL game.
