Report: 49ers, Patriots, Lions, Ravens & Colts All In The Market For A WR

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that a number of NFL teams have interest in trading for a wide receiver ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.

According to La Canfora, the 49ers, Patriots, Lions, Ravens and Colts are “deep in the process” of discussing a deal that would net them a receiver to add to their roster.

Teams are reportedly in the process of determining the best value in terms of available receivers.

La Canfora specifically mentions that players such as Hakeem NicksJosh Gordon, Kenny Britt, Jon Baldwin and Greg Little are all being discussed.

  • The Lions are reportedly not interested in guys like Britt or Gordon due to character concerns.

With regards to Browns players like Gordon and TE Jordan Cameron, La Canfora mentions that they would have to get a lot in return for either of them to include them in a trade. Gordon was a second-round pick during the supplemental draft, so it would probably require more than a second-round pick to get him.

If a player is dealt before the upcoming trade deadline, it appears as though it will be a wide receiver. We’ll have more regarding who could get dealt in the coming days.
