According to Mike Garafolo, the Tennessee Titans will sign veteran TE Visanthe Shiancoe.
Shiancoe, 33, hasn’t recorded a reception in a regular season game since 2011 with the Vikings. Since then, Shiancoe has bounced around the league in brief stints with the Patriots and Ravens.
With TE Delanie Walker suffering a concussion during Week 13’s loss to the Colts and the addition of Shiancoe, it seems almost certain that Walker will miss this weekend’s game.
Backup tight ends Craig Stevens and Taylor Thompson only having five receptions between them, so Shiancoe will be a contingency option at best for them.
