Report: Veteran QB Shaun Hill Visiting With Rams Monday

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Dispatch reports that the veteran QB Shaun Hill will visit with the Rams on Monday.

St. Louis just lost Kellen Clemens to the Chargers a few days ago, so they could really use a solid backup quarterback given that Sam Bradford is coming off of a serious knee injury.

Hill, 34, signed a two-year deal with the Lions back in 2012 and spent the past two years backing up Matthew Stafford in Detroit.

He’s considered to be one of the better backup quarterback options in the league, but he hasn’t seen a lot of action since 2010 when he played in 11 games for Detroit. During that season, Hill completed 61.8 percent of his passes for 2,686 yards to go along with 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
