Saints CB Marshon Lattimore Week To Week With Hamstring Injury

According to Ian Rapoport, Saints CB Marshon Lattimore is week-to-week with a hamstring strain suffered during Sunday’s loss to the Falcons.

Lattimore is the Saints No. 1 cornerback, so his absence will be felt for however long he’s out.

Lattimore, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Saints back in 2017. He’s entering the third year of his four-year, $15.35 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $1.09 million and $1.53 million over the next two years of the agreement.

Lattimore’s contract includes a fifth-year option for the Saints to pick up in 2020.

In 2019, Lattimore has appeared in nine games for the Saints and totaled 38 tackles, one interception and 10 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 31 cornerback out of 118 qualifying players.
