Jean-Baptiste, 25, was selected in the second round of last year’s NFL draft. He three years remaining on his four-year, $3,636,732 rookie contract that included $1,391,046 guaranteed.

In 2014, Jean-Baptiste was limited to appearing in just four games for the Saints, but never recorded a single tackle for them.
