The Saints announced Tuesday they’ve re-signed LB Chase Hansen.
New Orleans had waived Hansen a few days ago, but elected to bring him back to the 90-man roster.
Hansen, 25, signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Utah following the NFL draft. Undrafted free agents are expected to sign three-year, $1.755 million contracts in 2019.
During his four-year college career, Hansen recorded 270 total tackles, 32.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, four forced fumbles and five recoveries with one touchdown return, six interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns, and 16 pass defenses in 37 games.
