The Seattle Seahawks have signed OL Jared Wheeler to a contract Friday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.

Wheeler, 24, signed on with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Miami last May. He lasted just a few months with the team before he was waived and later claimed by the Buffalo Bills.
Unfortuantely for Wheeler, he was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and wasn’t added to a team’s practice squad.
During his senior season at Miami, Wheeler played in all 13 games, making six starts – one at left guard, two at center and three at right guard.
