The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Wednesday that they’ve signed DB Trevor Williams to their practice squad and released LB/LS Christian Kuntz from the unit.

Here’s the Steelers updated practice squad:

  1. WR Deon Cain
  2. T Anthony Coyle
  3. T Jarron Jones (Injured)
  4. P Corliss Waitman
  5. RB Wendell Smallwood
  6. QB Devlin Hodges
  7. DB John Battle
  8. OT Brandon Walton
  9. WR Cody White
  10. DE Calvin Taylor
  11. WR Anthony Johnson
  12. DT Demarcus Christmas
  13. TE Charles Jones
  14. K Matthew Wright
  15. TE Kevin Rader
  16. OT John Leglue
  17. CB Trevor Williams

Williams, 27, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in 2016. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was later signed to their practice squad.

Williams re-signed with the Chargers as a restricted free agent last offseason but was waived from their injured reserve list. The Cardinals claimed him off waivers before releasing him in October.

Williams signed a futures deal with the Eagles for the 2020 season and he’s been on and off of their roster.

So far this season, Williams has appeared in two games and recorded three total tackles, one pass defense, and no interceptions.
