The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Wednesday that they’ve signed TE Kevin Radar to a futures contract for the 2019 season.
As of now, the Steelers have signed 16 players to futures deals including:

- WR Trey Griffey
- DT Lavon Hooks
- WR Tevin Jones
- C Patrick Morris
- G R.J. Prince
- TE Christian Scotland-Williamson
- DB Herb Waters
- RB Ralph Webb
- TE Bucky Hodges
- QBÂ Brogan Roback
- WR Ka’Raun White
- LBÂ Tegray Scales
- WR Diontae Spencer
- DE Conor Sheehy
- TE Kevin Radar
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Rader, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Youngstown State back in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Packers but was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason.
During his four-year college career, Radar caught 41 passes for 601 yards receiving and four touchdowns over the course of 42 games.
